Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. The first job she had after school was in the industry of real estate. In this industry, she first met Tarek El-Moussa who would become her husband. The couple ran a profitable business up until the 2008 Stock Market Crash, which saw many real estate investments and flippers fail. Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa almost lost it all due to the crash. Following their move from a home that cost the couple $6,000 a year, and settling in a $700 apartment They almost lost everything. Slowly, their business as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted the help of a friend to create an audition tape to use for the purposes of HGTV. In 2012 the couple agreed to a formal contract with HGTV. Then, in April of 2013 "Flip of Flop" was a reality TV show that began its debut. They then spent several weeks renovating the property in order to make it possible for them to sell it for a profit.
